Bloom Human Resources Director Susan Cieply and her team work every day to staff Bloom with solid people, and help synergize relationships between those people and between Bloom’s departments. . People are the heart of every business. They create the product, sell the product, service the product.
At Bloom her department oversees the selection process for Admin, the Call Center and IT. When Bloom is hiring in the call center, HR seeks agents who embrace technology and are dedicated to learning the nuances of providing superior customer service. When HR is hiring for admin or IT positions, they work closely with the hiring manager to match candidates with the department’s needs and expectations. The department also helps identify internal talent for different departments, works with leadership to offer attractive benefits and keeps Bloom compliant with state and federal employment laws.
Susan’s daily goal is to provide clear expectations, the necessary tools, honest feedback and servant leadership to empower each employee to reach their potential.
“We work with Bloom leadership to bring compliance, processes, communication and people together to meet our goals and provide excellent customer service and prospects to both our call center and IT verticals,” Susan says. She holds PHR & SHRM-CP certifications, and is a member of both the local (SCIHRA) and the national (SHRM) HR organizations. Her hands-on experience includes benefits, employee relations, employment law, 401k administration, performance management, HR policy, FMLA/ADA, HRIS implementation, HR workflow, recruiting and payroll.
